This journey started with Kristen Trells, who created Chasing Sanity as a way to share her own experiences with mental health, healing, and finding hope. What began as a personal project quickly blossomed into a community effort, bringing together others eager to share their stories, techniques, and hard-won wisdom.
We know firsthand how it feels to live in survival mode, constantly scanning for danger, stuck in a cycle of fear and self-protection. It’s like learning humankindness all over again—toward others and ourselves. But our past does not define our future. Our trauma is not our identity. Together, we can move from simply surviving to thriving.
